PT 775 Business and Marketing

This course is designed to enhance the PT clinical doctoral learner’s appreciation of business and management practices needed to succeed within the current health care landscape. Students will examine physical therapy as a health care business that is becoming increasingly autonomous. Applying general business principles to this evolving practice environment will include finance, productivity, reimbursement, business planning, marketing, human resources, leadership, flexibility, and corporate compliance. This content will assist the therapist and the profession in preparing for the future. (2)
