POL 101 Exploring Power and Society in the National Capital Area

An introduction to the study of politics and society in the Washington DC area, intended for new college students. The course makes use of the Marymount campus, site visits in Arlington VA and Washington DC, and mentorship from upperclass students and alums as students develop a basic understanding of the relationship between power and society at the local, national, and international levels and begin to develop research skills.
