ED 502 Foundations of Education

Explores the historical background and philosophical foundation of education in the United States with emphasis upon present-day applications. The education system will be viewed in terms of the role of various organizations upon its structure and operation. Teacher responsibilities and management skills will be emphasized as well as the legal implications of classroom behavior. (3)
