TRS 201 Understanding Religion
Religion matters to individuals, families, and societies. This course examines religion cross-culturally seeking to understand what it is and how it works. Common features of religions such as beliefs in the supernatural, mystical experiences, myths, rituals, organizational structure, and moral guidelines will be explored through ancient and modern religious traditions. Prerequisites:
TRS 100 and
EN 102 with a grade of C- or better.
