NU 591 Evidence-Based Practice in Health Care

This course provides an in-depth study of the process and elements of research and evidence-based practice. Focus is placed on the process of identifying clinical and health care delivery problems; searching for and appraising the evidence for solutions; and planning, implementing, and evaluating practice changes. It incorporates an overview of the design and conduct of ethical health care inquiry with an emphasis on translational research skills to improve health care delivery and outcomes.
