Business Administration/Information Technology Dual Degree (M.B.A./M.S.)
The M.B.A. and M.S. in Information Technology dual-degree program is designed to meet the needs of those students desiring a strong business background with an emphasis in information technology (IT). A dual degree will prepare students for management responsibilities in today’s fast-growing IT industry that exists in a global and competitive business environment.
Upon successful completion of all dual-degree requirements, students will receive both an M.B.A. and an M.S. in Information Technology. Students successfully completing both degrees will achieve the learning outcomes of each of the two programs. Admission Requirements: In addition to universitywide requirements, students applying to the Business Administration/Information Technology dual degree program must meet the admission requirements for each of the two programs.
Minimum Grade Requirements: A minimum grade of C is needed to receive credit for any MBA course in this dual-degree program. A minimum grade of B- is needed to receive credit for any IT course in this dual-degree program. All graduate students in the School of Business and Technology must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Students whose cumulative GPA falls below 3.0 during enrollment in this dual degree will be placed on academic probation. Students must bring their cumulative GPA to 3.0 or higher within nine (9) graduate credits or be dismissed. A student whose cumulative GPA falls below 3.0 a second time will be dismissed.
