The core mission of the School of Sciences, Mathematics, and Education is to enable students to serve as agents of positive change for individuals and in the global community.
The school offers undergraduate programs in biology and physical sciences, criminal justice, education (licensure and non-licensure), elementary education with PK-6 licensure, special education with K-12 licensure, secondary education licensure in biology, mathematics, psychology, and sociology. At the undergraduate level, the school also runs three additional teacher licensure programs in art, English, and history disciplines housed in the School of Design, Arts, and Humanities. At the graduate level, students may pursue degrees in counseling, education, and forensic and legal psychology.
