Introduces students to the field of computer science, the fundamentals of computer systems and computer architecture, and to computational thinking. It exposes students to hardware components (including circuit design and networking), data and number representation in computers, computer organization, computer arithmetic, Karnaugh maps (K-maps), digital logic design, memory management, processor instruction sets, and assembly programming.
