PH 303 Animals, the Environment, and Ethics
An exploration of our moral responsibilities concerning animals and the natural environment. The course covers philosophical theories of ethics and their application to topics in environmental ethics. Topics may include animal rights, anthropocentrism, conservation, deep ecology, and the value of nature. Prerequisite: One prior course in philosophy.
