AH 102 Introduction to Art History: Renaissance to Modern

A survey of world painting, architecture, and sculpture from the 14th to the 20th century, with particular emphasis on works of art from the Washington, DC region. This course uses those works to investigate meaning in the visual arts and the development of artistic style within an historical context. A minimum grade of C is needed for this class to fulfill any major requirement in the School of Design and Art. Liberal Arts Core Designation: Fine and Performing Arts (FPA). (3)
