Military and Veteran Services
The Office of Military and Veteran Services at Marymount University provides active duty military, veteran, and reserve service members and their families with information and financial resources that promote academic and personal success. Additional information on opportunities for veterans and military service members, including VA benefits, is available by contacting veterans@marymount.edu or (703) 284-1530.
This institution is approved to offer GI Bill® education benefits by the Virginia State Approving Agency, which is the approving authority of education and training programs for Virginia. The agency investigates complaints of GI Bill® beneficiaries. While most complaints should initially follow the school grievance policy, if the situation cannot be resolved at the school, the beneficiary should contact the agency via email: saa@dvs.virginia.gov.
Those seeking to use VA Educational Benefits must complete a one-time New Military and Veteran Student Orientation which lays out expectations and provides an opportunity to ask questions they may have before the certification process and semester begins.
Additional information on opportunities for veterans and military service members, including VA benefits, may be available. Please reach out to us at veterans@marymount.edu or (703) 284-1530.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Website at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
