Health and Wellness Coaching Graduate Certificate
Pending approval by the National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching
This certificate program allows students to concentrate on health and wellness coaching for both individuals and groups with a focus on behavior change consistent with improved health outcomes. The program provides an opportunity to learn and practice evidence-based health coaching techniques with an emphasis on effective communication respecting individual client preferences and ethical practices.
Students will need a BS in an allied health field to enter the program and must maintain a 3.0 GPA throughout the certificate program. Courses must be taken in sequential order.
Minimum Grade Requirement: A grade of B- or better is needed to pass core courses. No course may be repeated more than once. Students who receive a grade below B- in three or more graduate courses are dismissed, even if courses were repeated for a higher grade. Students are required to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
