MA 221 Multivariable Calculus

A study of multivariable calculus. Topics include elementary three-dimensional geometry, vectors, vector-valued functions, partial differentiation, multiple integration, and generalizations of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus (like the Fundamental Theorem of Line Integrals, Green's theorem, and Stokes' theorem). Offered Fall semester. Prerequisite: MA 200 with a minimum grade of C, or instructor permission. Liberal Arts Core Designation: Mathematics (MT), Depth in Sciences (DSCI). (4)
