MA 418 Modeling for STEM

A survey of real-world phenomena that are modeled using mathematical methods. Focuses on the construction, analysis, and critique of mathematical models using a broad range of techniques. Offered spring semester of even numbered years only. Prerequisite: grade of C or better in MA 218 and MA 181 or MA 172 or permission of the instructor. (3)
