MENG 412 Heat and Mass Transfer

The goal of the course is to introduce students to the fundamentals of heat and mass transfer as well as unique applications. Apply scientific and engineering principles to analyze and design thermal aspects of engineering systems; use appropriate analytical and computational tools to investigate heat and mass transport phenomena. Subject areas include steady-state and transient system analyses for conduction, free and forced convection, boiling condensation, and thermal radiation. Prerequisite: MA 325 and ENGR 302 (3)
