Undergraduate Degrees
Credit for Work Experience
The School of Technology and Innovation recognizes that many individuals want to come back and get a degree but have relevant work experience (government. military and business) in the computing fields. These individuals can complete a portfolio documenting their educational, certification and work experience as part of the one-credit course, IT 102, Computing Professional Assessment. As part of an assessment by a faculty member, course requirements may be transferred for credit or waived, minimizing the time to graduate with a BS in Information Technology, Cloud Computing, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Cybersecurity.
Credit For Certifications
The School of Technology and Innovation recognizes the value of industry certifications and offers credit for the equivalent course in the computing programs. Individuals must provide evidence of the certification and it must be verifiable by the organization offering the certification. Certifications are evaluated and students in the computing program are encouraged to take them for credit during their degree program.
