EN 185 Video Game Narratives

This course examines video games as storytelling texts from thematic, historical, cultural, and social perspectives. Students will play and analyze video games using traditional approaches to literary texts as well as approaches unique to gaming. Although active playing will be required, the course is appropriate for students of all levels of video game experience. Prerequisite: EN 102. Liberal Arts Core Designation: LT. (3)
