ENGR 303L Thermal Fluids Laboratory
This is a laboratory-intensive course that provides an in-depth study of fluid properties, fluid statics, and the dynamics of fluid motion, including continuity, linear and angular momentum, and energy principles. Students will explore both viscous and non-viscous flow, as well as the operation and application of pumps, turbines, and flow in pipes. The course also covers heat exchangers, engines, and fundamental heat transfer mechanisms. Hands-on laboratory activities will reinforce theoretical concepts and provide experience with standard thermal fluid mechanics equipment. Prerequisite: ENGR 302. (1)
