POL 338 Immigration Law

A comprehensive exploration of immigration law and policy in the United States, covering which people are permitted to enter the U.S. and when they may be forced to leave. Students will critically examine current statutes and immigration policies as they emerge from the interplay between Congress, administrative agencies, and the courts. Prerequisite: EN 102 and either POL 103 or POL 230. Liberal Arts Core Designation: Social Science (SS), Depth in Sciences (DSCI). (3)
