HPR 516 Healthy Behaviors
This course will introduce the student to the healthy behavior recommendations and resources currently offered by leading government and health agencies. Specifically, the student will learn the basics of healthy behavior change with a core understanding of weight management, healthy eating, adequate hydration, sleep habits, mental health/stress management and physical activity recommendations. Minimum Grade Requirement: A grade of B- or better is needed to pass core courses. No course may be repeated more than once. Students who receive a grade below B- in three or more graduate courses are dismissed, even if the courses were repeated for a higher grade. Students are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. (3)
