Design and Art (B.A.)
Program Description
Students earning a B.A. in Design and Art degree will gain both a breadth of knowledge in design and art fields as well as the depth of knowledge in one of our required specializations (minors).
Students will complete 120 credits including: 36 credits of VIS core courses (in common with the GMD, FD, and IAD core), 18-21 credits of an approved minor, and the remainder of the liberal arts core. The program will fully meet the university requirements. Students can further specialize their degree with a second minor.

Design and Art Core
To fulfill the requirements of the major, all students in this program will take the following coursework in a sequence determined in collaboration with an advisor. Some courses also satisfy Liberal Arts Core Requirements.
