SLP 302 Foundations of Speech-Language Pathology II

The course provides a comprehensive exploration of speech, language, and communication development from infancy through aging, with a focus on how cognitive changes impact these areas. Students will gain practical skills in analyzing and measuring language and speech through language sampling techniques and the International Phonetic Alphabet. The course also emphasizes understanding development through a socio-cultural lens, integrating anti-racist and anti-ableist perspectives to ensure a holistic and inclusive approach.
