Federal Aid Programs

Eligible students may qualify for a variety of federal aid programs, including:

Federal Pell Grant: A need-based grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG): Awarded to undergraduate students with significant financial need; funding is limited.
Federal Work-Study (FWS): Provides part-time employment opportunities for students with financial need.
Federal Direct Subsidized Loan: Need-based loan; interest is paid by the government while the student is enrolled at least half-time.
Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan: Not based on financial need; interest accrues while the student is in school.
Federal Direct PLUS Loan: Credit-based loan available to graduate students and parents of dependent undergraduate students.
