Financial Value Transparency

Beginning with the 2025–2026 academic year, the Department of Education requires institutions to provide Financial Value Transparency (FVT) data for all eligible undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. This includes reporting on:

  • Typical costs of attendance
  • Median earnings of program graduates
  • Median student loan debt
  • Loan repayment rates
  • Earnings-to-debt ratios

This information is made publicly available through the College Scorecard and/or the FVT Disclosure Website, and students may be required to acknowledge receipt of this data prior to enrolling in certain programs.
