Gainful Employment Programs
Gainful Employment (GE) applies to academic programs that:
- Are Title IV-eligible (receive federal financial aid); and
- Lead to a certificate or credential designed to prepare students for employment in a recognized occupation.
At Marymount University, the following non-degree certificate programs fall under Gainful Employment regulation:
- Family Nurse Practitioner (Post-Master's Certificate)
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Post-Master's Certificate)
For each GE program, the University is required to disclose:
- Tuition and fees
- Typical time to complete the program
- Median loan debt incurred by program completers
- Employment outcomes and earnings of graduates (if available)
These disclosures help students make informed decisions about whether to enroll in a particular program.
