IT 376 Network Administration

Covers the management of on-premise networks, including a variety of servers. This course emphasizes common administration tools and techniques and teaches proper structuring of security systems. The course details best practices for hardware and software upgrading, system hardening, user management, print queues, network performance, disk management, and other network issues. Students must achieve a minimum grade of C. Prerequisite: IT 208 with a minimum grade of C. (3)
